Glass
Glass is the material we are exploring most actively at the moment, mainly for the Chronos Floor Lamp. The interest is in heating and forming it, moving away from flat applications towards fluid, biomorphic shapes that respond to the object they belong to and to the light passing through them.
This is work in progress. The entry will grow as the lamp is documented.
- Flat and rigid as it arrives; workable once heated. We are interested in what it can become between those two states.
- Heated, shaped and formed rather than used as flat sheet.
